Giving to our Parish

Please support our parish as generously as you can. We have CONTACTLESS CARD GIVING in the Church to make it more convenient for those who seldom carry cash. You can easily GIFT-AID your card donations – it only takes a moment

We thank parishioners who have already set up Standing Orders instead of weekly envelopes, and we thank them. Click for a special PLEDGE FORM which you can use instead or in addition to the forms mentioned below. Thank you.

THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO SUPPORT OUR PARISH is to set up a regular Standing Order from your Bank Account. Print the Standing Order Form here, fill it in, and email it to the Parish Office. We will note the details for our records and then send it to your bank branch.

If you are a UK taxpayer (including pensions) you can increase the value of your generous donations via Gift Aid. If you have registered for Gift Aid , our Gift Aid Organiser can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift, currently 25p for every £1 you give. You can do so via the Pledge Form link above.

Further Information

Our Parish does not receive any funding from elsewhere and therefore relies on Parishioners to fund its day-to-day running.

We are grateful to the many parishioners who, understanding this, generously support our Parish financially.

How can you support our Parish?

  1. Monthly standing orders: payable through your bank, the monthly standing order is an easy way to donate to the Parish on a monthly basis. A good rule of thumb is to decide what weekly donation you would like to make and multiply this by at least 4.5. If you wish to do so, complete the Standing Order form and return it to our Parish Office.
  2. Use the Donate’ button in the Sidebar to the right. Or, using this link Just Giving, you are able to make regular or ad hoc donations to the Parish online.
  3. Weekly planned giving envelopes: using a pack of dated envelopes for each Sunday and for Special Collections, which we can supply on request.

WHEN can you support our Parish?

  1. Weekly Mass: donations at Mass form our most significant source of funding for the day-to-day running of the Parish. You can use our Card Reader in Church for all donations.
  2. Shopping online: when you do Internet Shopping you can usually get the retailer to give a small percentage to our parish, at no extra cost. This includes booking flights, hotels, holidays and car hire, as well as the weekly food shop. Please try it. It doesn’t cost you anything.
Simply log onto our easyfundraising page, register your details and save the page to your browser. Then whenever you shop online go through the Easy Fundraising webpage and choose your retailer; all major retailers are on the site. In this way you can nominate the Parish to receive up to 2.5% of the value of goods you buy online.
  3. One-off donations: many of our Parishioners like to make one-off donations over the course of the year.
  4. Your Will: some Parishioners leave legacies to the Parish. This gives significant help towards special works and one-off items. Please contact our office (below) for the appropriate wording.
  • GIFT AID: However you choose to donate to the Parish, Gift Aid increases the value of your donation. If you are a UK taxpayer, you are able to participate in Gift Aid. For every £1 you donate, the Parish will receive an additional 25p, refunded by the Government from income tax you have paid. Please complete and return the Gift Aid form.
  • CONTACT US: To request weekly envelopes or forms relating to the Bank Standing Order or Gift Aid Declaration, if you have difficulty downloading, please contact our parish office
